Originaire de Paris, le groupe Penny Was Right délivre une musique énergique et sans prétention, à la croisée du punk rock californien et de la pop rock, notamment grâce à la voix de Dalia qui rappelle parfois celle de P!nk. Influencé par les icônes du mouvement (Blink 182, Sum41, Billy Talent), Penny Was Right s’inspire également d’autres groupes comme Rise Against, Alter Bridge, The Distillers ou encore Bring Me The Horizon.
