UN NAVIRE D’EXPLORATION…
Avec Detention Empire, le trio explore librement toutes les facettes du rock comme genre musical. L’auditeur·ice est transporté·e entre rythmiques pop-punk et solos endiablés, ballades sensibles et lignes de basse puissantes voire dansantes sans pour autant perdre le nord: un soin particulier apporté aux mélodies et une dynamique travaillée pour des morceaux rythmés aux refrains accrocheurs. Et s’il ne fallait qu’un seul genre ou état d’esprit pour définir l’album, retenez high energy rock’n roll !

Chaque membre apporte sa contribution dans la composition, en fonction de son propre vécu. Ce sont essentiellement des situations expérimentées au quotidien qui inspirent les paroles. Par exemple, les trajectoires de vie incertaines (Train) ou les relations nocives (Thorns). Detention Empire représente également parfois les dérives de la société actuelle, mettant en évidence l’absence générale d’espoir dans un futur meilleur.
