LETHALCORE est le nouveau projet metalcore/melodeath porté par Emmanuel Devorst, ex guitariste-choriste d’Alan Stivell. 

L’univers de LETHALCORE est puissant et mélancolique, à la croisée du metalcore mélodique et du melodeath. La voix claire teenage et catchy, tournant aux saturations les plus extrêmes, se pose sur les rafales de double pédale. Les rythmiques lourdes et tranchantes appuient les rapides solos de guitare. Les textes en anglais teintés d’une horreur sanglante portent la marque indélébile de l’Amour perdu.

A 30 ans, Emmanuel Devorst, chanteur-guitariste et auteur-compositeur de LETHALCORE, a tourné dans plus de six pays d’Europe aux côtés d’Alan Stivell et foulé des scènes comme l’Olympia et le Motocultor Festival. 

Le magazine Guitarist&Bass le qualifie de “guitariste remarquable”.

Fondé à Rennes, France en 2024, LETHALCORE dévoilera son premier single “My Curse” le 3 mai 2024. Ce titre a été mixé et masterisé par Gwen Kerjan au Slab Sound Studio.

LETHALCORE travaille actuellement sur le clip vidéo de son deuxième single prévu pour l’automne 2024. Des premières dates de concerts avec un line up seront alors annoncées.

LETHALCORE is the new metalcore/melodeath project led by Emmanuel Devorst, former guitarist/backing vocalist for Alan Stivell.

LETHALCORE‘s world is powerful and melancholic, at the crossroads of melodic metalcore and melodeath. Teenage and catchy clean vocals, turning into the most extreme saturations, rest on double bass drum explosions. Heavy and sharp rhythms support galloping guitar solos. Lyrics tinged with bloody horror bear the indelible mark of Lost Love.

At 30, Emmanuel Devorst, singer/guitarist and songwriter for LETHALCORE, has toured more than six European countries alongside Alan Stivell, and graced stages such as the Olympia and Motocultor Festival. 

Guitarist&Bass magazine calls him a “remarkable guitarist”.

Founded in Rennes, France in 2024, LETHALCORE will unveil its first single “My Curse” on May 3, 2024. This track was mixed and mastered by Gwen Kerjan at Slab Sound Studio.

LETHALCORE is currently working on the music video for its second single, to be released during the fall of 2024. First shows will then follow with a full line up.
